Why can't I find an item I want to order on your website?
We do list everything that we sell on our website and our search bar may be the easiest way to find something. If you still can't find what you're looking for it may be that we don't do it or we've delisted it.
We don't remove out of stock items and any item showing out of stock will come back in stock at some point. If you need any help please use the contact form below or contact us using the online chat.
-
Do you have a catalogue?
You can find our full product range direct on our website. Our range covers tents, awnings, windbreaks, melamine sets and more. We don't have paper catalogues.
-

We sell all of our products direct online or through retailers. On our website you are guaranteed the lowest prices, free delivery and click and collect.
We also sell through Amazon, eBay, Argos, Halfords, Wayfair and The Range. We work closely with these retailers because they offer exceptional service and convenience.
We also supply a large number of campervan converters so if you're looking to buy a new campervan ask your convertor if they stock OLPRO. Apart from at shows you won't see OLPRO on display anywhere.
-
Can I come and look at tents and awnings?
We don't have a showroom, however we attend many shows all over the country every year so you can see the tents and awnings 'in the flesh' at one of these.
Check out which shows we will be attending here.
Alternatively you can see a wide range of our product videos on our Youtube Channel, and detailed footprints on our website showing all the dimensions and technical specifications.

If in doubt check the description of the product as we've been careful to add as much detail as we can to each product page.
-
I have a question about my Pre-Order?
When new products are introduced, they first get published with a pre-order or a deposit option.
Pre-order allows you to reserve the item before it comes in to stock. Sometimes you can do this with a deposit, sometimes we ask you to pay the special pre-order price.
If you pay with a pre-order deposit, the deposit will be taken upon ordering and we shall approach you for payment of the balance once the item has been delivered to us or is confirmed to be delivered to us within 2-3 days.
If you pay in full, payment will be taken at the time of ordering, not at the time the product will be dispatched.
When ordering, please make sure your contact details are correct - when new stock comes in, we are at the hands of our shipping company and UK customs so there may be a few delays that we will need to keep you informed of.
Please note - the delivery dates we provide are an estimates. We are not responsible for any delays which are caused during the products arriving our warehouse facility. However, if we are made aware of any problems, we will endeavour to contact you. Please be sure to give us accurate contact details including your email address so that we can send you updates.
-

We also offer variations of a couple of our awnings that have longer tunnels and will fit taller vehicles up to 280cm. - These are part of our XL range. Do any of your awnings fit on to the back of vehicles?
Our Cubo breeze awning is the most suitable awning to fit onto the back of a vehivle. This includes VW Caddys, Romahomes, Go Pods and most tailgated campers. It is more suitable because it has a thinner tunnel than other awnings. All of our awnings will work but you'll find the Cubo Breeze easier to work with given the thinner tunnel. These will need to be attached using the straps provided. If in doubt, please get in touch using the contact form above.

-
How do I know if my OLPRO item is suitable for my desired pitch?
All of our product footprint sizes are displayed on the product information page. What is a breeze awning?
A Breeze awning is a campervan awning designed by OLPRO. It has fully inflatable air beams that can be pumped up in 5 minuted using the included air pump. The Breeze awning can be attached to the van directly or by using a figure of 8 or driveaway kit. You can also use the straps that are included to put over the van and peg down on the other side to ensure the awning stays attached to the van.
-
How sturdy are the inflatable awnings in the wind?
To be honest, they blow around a lot less, as they move with the wind rather than bend and snap. Because once inflated, they are heavy they do tent to move a lot less, but also when they move they will flex back into position more freely. Check out our Youtube Channel to see a video of our awnings in the wind.
-
How does the awning attach to the vehicle?
There are several ways you can attach your awning to your vehicle. Listed below, are the most popular methods to attach your drive away awning.
StrapsStraps can be used to attach the awning to the van by throwing them over and pegging them down the other side. This is also the easiest option. Straps are also suitable for your Pop top van, you just place the straps either side of the pop top (One in front and one behind) and peg them down as normal.
Once strapped over the pegs for the tunnel are usually pegged in just under the campervan giving you a right fit. To leave site you can disconnect the buckles allowing the awning to freestand and you to driveaway.
Vehicles with Gutters By using the Figure of 8, you can ensure a tight seal in a small amount of time. All you have to do is, feed through the awning cord (Beading) into the figure of 8 on one side and then slot the figure of 8 onto the camper van guttering. For Camper-vans with shallow gutter rails or roof-rails or as an alternative to vehicles with gutters. Some early VW vans have got a shallow gutter, where using a pole and clamp kit will be a better option. The majority of awnings have a pole sleeve on the tunnel of the awning. A pole would be fed through the pole sleeve and then placed in the gutter and fixed down using the clamps.
For Camper-vans with wind out awnings (Fiamma, omnistore etc) If your vehicle has a wind out awning. Then you can use the awning channel built into this to attach your awning. You will need some lengths of Figure 8 and a few metres of Kador. Locate the awning channel on your wind out awning, For 2011 Fiamma Awnings will have 2 of these awning channels. On other awnings this awning channel maybe less obvious and mounted behind the rail. All that is left to do is attach the awning to the your wind out awning and roll your wind out awning back in.
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MAY REQUIRE A SPECIAL KADOR AS THE AWNING CHANNEL ON A WIND OUT AWNING IS ONLY 4MM IN DIAMETER.Other Methods
You can also use Suction cups (Dent Pullers) which fasten to the awning and then the suction cup gets stuck to the van holding the awning securely in place.
Magnetic strips usually come with a figure of 8. This allows you to attach the awning to the figure of 8 and the magnet sticks the van holding the awning in place. Magnetic strips are not advisable as they could damage your camper by leaving deep scratches from moving around.
-
Will a Breeze awning fit a GoPod Caravan?
Yes. As long as the awning rail is/over 140cm and the caravan does not exceed the height of 240cm, then a Breeze awning will fit fine. Just feed the awning 6mm beading through the rail and it will be ready to go.
-
What are the tunnel sizes of the Breeze awnings?
Across the Breeze range, the tunnel sizes differ. On each product page we have a footprint which accurately details the exact dimensions of every part of the awning.
-

-
Are your footprint groundsheets suitable for hard standing pitches?

-
Can the awnings be used as stand alone shelters?
All of our awnings are drive away awnings so they will stand up like a standard tent if you decide to move the vehicle away. The tunnel can be rolled away when not in use.

Canvas Product Questions
-
Is a pump included with my tent or awning?
All inflatable tents and awnings come with a manual pump, which is set to 7psi and we recommend to use with your awning.
-
Will the tunnel interfere with my door as it slides back?
All of our Camper Van awnings are universal awnings made to fit a wide variety of camper vans including every VW and every custom built van. In order to do this the tunnels have elastic straps on them so that when you want to open your side down you can relax the elastic strap allowing space between the van and the door, for the door to slide.
You can leave the tunnel like this so that the door can be slid open and closed. If you want to secure the tunnel against the open door or against the closed van then tighten the strap on the door. It is a good universal system which means that whatever van you have, you can use a OLPRO Breeze Awning

-
How long are your standard tent pegs?

-
Are the inner tents made from blackout material?
The individual product will state on the product specification whether they have dark grey inners or whether they have the industry standard inner tent.
-
Can you make the two bedroom compartments into one big one?
Most of our inner tents have a zip in bedroom divider so you have the option of having two double bedrooms or one large one. The divider can be rolled away when not needed. You will find this on the Wichenford Breeze for example. If you check the floorplan of the particular tent you're looking at you'll see if there is a dotted line in the inner tent. This shows a divide option.
-
What are the vents above the windows for? When should I have them open?
These vents are to help lessen condensation. To prevent condensation, tents should be well ventilated. We recommend leaving the vents open all of the time or for as long as possible.
-
Do any extensions have a sewn in groundsheet?
Our extensions don't have groundsheets included. However, on the product footprint you can find the size of the extension for if you wanted to purchase a separate footprint groundsheet.
-
Are your awnings compatible with other inner tents? Are your inner tents compatible with other awnings?
As there are so many tents and awnings on the mainstream market, we are unable to say if this is possible. With regards to our own tents and awnings etc, they are not interchangable within the range.

How do you pack away a pop up product?
Our Pop Up Products are designed in a way to be innovative and versatile, whilst at the same time being convenient on space. There is a knack to putting them away, but once you've got it you'll be absolutely fine. Check out our Youtube Channel for our full range of videos which show how to pack down our Pop Up products
-
How to pitch and pack away our OLPRO POP Tents
The technology behind our OLPRO Pop Tents is designed to be as simple as possible whilst keeping technical elements at the forefront of it's design. The tents themselves literally do pop up and can be pitched in under a minute. The tent 'poles' are all connected to the main compression unit which gives it's shape and keeps the tension on the poles.
To pitch: Simply unfold the leg units and spread the tent out, once it's ready - pop the top unit down to create tension on the poles. Once you've done this, peg in the corners and peg out your guy lines.
To pack down: Reverse the steps above and snap the legs upward back into the pole above. They can be quite resistant so a good bit of force may be required to get it compact down.

Do I need to wait in for a delivery?
We know everyone is so busy nowadays so it's quite inconvenient to wait in for a parcel - however since the Coronavirus outbreak some couriers are not taking signatures but expect that if they've given you an hour time slot that if they deliver at that time and photograph the product has delivered - that will be classed as delivered - so it's strongly adviced that you be at home at that time and if you can't be that you contact the courier to re-schedule. This will protect you against lost parcels.
If the parcel is small, it will be sent by Royal Mail who do not state specific delivery days. If you are not in when they call, they usually leave a card telling you what to do next.
If the item is large, these get sent by DHL. Once your order is scanned in at the local depot, you should receive a tracking number so that you can track the parcel online. If you are not in on the planned delivery day, you can make the following amendments; Leave in a safe place, Leave with a neighbour, collect from your local DHL UK Depot or you can Change the Delivery date.
We can also deliver to places of work or to friends/relatives who will be in for delivery. We also have a click and collect option at checkout so you can pick it up from a local store.
We have put all of these options in place so you do not have to make special arrangements, have days off etc. If you choose to take a day off to wait in for delivery, OLPRO Ltd cannot be held liable for any loss in earnings or compensation as a result of waiting in for the parcel.
-

OLPRO LTD has no effect on these charges and cannot quote the amount that will be payable. My tent is wet on the inside, is it leaking?
Tent condensation can be mistaken for tent leakage. Waterproof fabrics today are extremely good at keeping water out but this does mean that water vapour cannot get out. If the water is spread out over the fabric, it is most likely condensation.
If a stream is coming from an access point it may be a leak but it may also be a gathering of condensation at its lowest point. If you find a puddle on the groundsheet without a visible entry point it could be condensation dripping from the ceiling.
If you think of what happens to the outside of a glass of cold liquid being similar to what happens to the inside of a tent. The air outside of the tent is like the cold liquid inside the glass, the inside of tent is like the warm air on the outside of the glass, where warm, moist air meets a cool surface, condensation happens.
Even seasoned campers have been be shocked at the amount of water that can be produced through condensation. 1 person = 1 pint or more of water per night inc other water sources e.g. wet clothes, cooking inside tent, moist air already present.
If you do suspect that your tent is leaking and isn't condensation, you should be able to find the seam where the water is leaking in through. It's likely in the event of a leak, that a seam has become unsealed. We provide a tube of seam sealant with every tent sold, this can be applied and once it has dried - it will reseal the seam and prevent the leak.
-
How can I clean or treat mould on my tent?
Prevention is key when it comes to mould on your tent, even if you follow simple steps to help prevent it, it can limit the volume of mould you will have on your canvas. Mould can be killed with white vinegar. Apply it to the affected area and leave it to dry, once it's dry scrub it with a brush using a canvas mould remover. Alternatively, you can use a homemade mixture of salt, lemon and hot water. Make sure that the mould remover is suitable for canvas and avoid using detergent soaps or bleach. Once you've cleaned off the mould, treat the canvas with a canvas treatment to restore it's original qualities.
-
How do I reproof my tent?
Firstly, you should check to see if your tent does indeed need reproofing. To do this, you can use a spray bottle and spray water onto your canvas when pitched. The water should bead and run off the canvas without absorbing, should you notice it soaking through your tent might need reproofing.
When it comes to reproofing, it's best to find a day where it's warm and dry. We reccommend pitching the tent so that the fabric is taut and you can access the whole canvas.
Depending on the reproofer that you are using, the canvas may need to be either wet or dry for applicaction. Usually, most reproofers require you to paint on to the fabric and allow to dry. Make sure to work around every panel and ensure you're applying a good amount.
Once your canvas has dried, retest the waterproofing by using your spray bottle again.
-
My tent has faded after a lot of use – what do I do?
If your tent has faded after a lot of use it may well be that the UV coated protection may become a little bit worn. You will need to respray your canvas with a UV coating spray to restore the UV protection.
-
What is the best way to store my tent between trips?
Tent storage is very important when it comes to maintaining your tents lifespan. When packing down your tent it's important to ensure that it is dry and clean when being packed into the bag. This will help prevent mould and damp from damaging the canvas. You should always store your tent or awning in a place where it is dry and not in direct sunlight. This will help prevent the UV rays from damaging the coating on the tent and from the fabric fading. It will also help preent mould and damp which may damage both the tent bag and your tent.
-
How do I wash my sleeping bag?
We recommend using a spot wash method for sleeping bags. Using a sponge and a bucket of hot soapy water, dab the areas where the sleeping bag is soiled and lighlty brush away any dirt. Avoid soaking the sleeping bag for long periods if possible as this will damage the waterproofing of the fabric. Avoid using washing machines as it could cause damage to the sleeping bag or even worse, it could damage your washing machine. For drying, we recommend air drying outside until fully dry.
-
How to fold and pack away my family tent?
You've just finished your camping trip and now comes the dreaded task of packing away. Leave a door open on your tent at one end to allow the air to leave the canvas whilst you're rolling it. Fold your canvas to the length of the tent bag to ensure it will fit. You don't want to roll and fold it up to realise it's too big for the bag. Roll slowly and firmly from one end forcing as much air out as possible. Once you've rolled up to the door, the canvas should be small enough to tie up and put in the bag.
-
Does your products come with instructions?

When do you recommend using the storm straps?
We recommend using the storm straps as soon as the wind starts picking up. This will help ensure that your awning/tent is in a strong position for any wind that may pick up instantly. It's always better to be prepared when you are expecting bad weather
In extreme weather conditions we recommend dropping your tent/awning for the time being to weather the worst conditions. With the inflatable tents/awnings - this is much easier to do as you can just reinflate your beams once the worst of the storms have passed.
Please note that your tent/awning isn't covered under warranty by any damage caused by storms or extreme weather conditions
-
Should I pitch with all of my guy ropes?
For best practices we recommend pitching your tent with all guy ropes and peg points pegged out. This is to ensure that the product functions as it’s been tested to do so. It will also ensure that your poles and canvas don’t come under any unnecessary tension which could result in tears or breakages. The guy ropes are there for several reasons including ventilation, stability, space and for keeping dry.
-
What should I do if my OLPRO air beam bursts when im on holiday?
In the unfortunate case where you have an issue with your air beam whilst you’re away, there are a few things you can do. If the beam hasn’t actually burst but has come out of the black casing – you can deflate the beam and zip the casing back up securing it with a cable tie or something to hold the zips together.
If your bladder has a burst in it, the best solution is to deflate the other beams to avoid any damage/stress being caused. You can order replacement beams via a next day service to your campsite – delivery only applies during week days.

What products would you recommend to clean the walls on the inside of the tent?
We recommend using a non-detergent soap to clean the walls of your tent. Detergents tent to encourage moisture to penetrate through the fabrics in order to clean, which may damage the waterproofing properties. In extreme cases, you can use detergent soap to clean your canvas – but make sure to waterproof it effectively afterwards to restore the waterproof coating.

Do I need a footprint groundsheet?
Footprint Groundsheets aren't essential when it comes to camping. All of our tents and awnings come with a fully sewn in groundsheet which has a H/H rating of 10,000mm. However, Footprints are effective at keeping the main groundsheet of your tent/awning clean. It's much more easier to wipe clean or hose your footprint groundsheet than it is to try and clean the groundsheet attached to your tent/awning.
Footprint Groundsheets are also very good for harsher terrains. They will help to protect your groundsheet from tears or punctures from stones or other sharp objects which you may be pitched on.

Preparing for camping
-
What is a ring and pin system?
The ring and pin system is a system for attaching the poles to the groundsheet. It is designed to help give the tent a basic shape whilst providing enough tension on the poles to keep the fabric taut. Essentially, the pin slots into the bottom of the tent pole to provide enough tension for the pole to arch.

Should I pitch my tent before going away?
Pitching your tent before you go away is one of the most essential aspects of camping which is always forgotten. We cannot stress enough how important it is to familiarise yourself with your tent before arriving at the site. The team have designed product instructions to be simple and easy to pitch and pack away. However, it’s always best to get to know your own way of pitching your tent, we promise, it’ll save many arguments.
As a general rule, before going away check that you’ve got all the parts of your tent (Use the instructions as a checklist). Plus, pitching your tent will give you a final chance to check it over for any damage, spots of damp or issues which may cut your holiday short.
-
What does Hydrostatic Head (HH) mean?
Hydrostatic Head (H/H) is the measurement of how waterproof a fabric is. The measurement is based on how many millimeteres of water it would take (in a column) to penetrate the fabric. Based on this measurement 5,000mm H/H (Wich is most of our canvas fabrics) it would take 5 metres of water before it would penetrate the fabric and allow water to enter.
The H/H of a tent needs to be around abouts 1000mm to withstand light showers - This is the industry classification for waterproof. With strong winds and heavy rain, more pressure will be put upon the fabric and as a result tents will require higher H/H to withstand these conditions.
Our H/H Ratings are lcoated on our product descriptions. For more information contact our customer service team.
-
What is UV Protection?
If you spend a lot of time camping in the outdoors, you’re going to spend a lot of time exposed to the elements. Especially the sun, like you would apply sun cream to your skin when you’re spending a day on the beach, every so often you may need to respray your canvas to restore the qualities. Our canvases are designed to provide UV protection to help protect you from the harmful rays of the sun as well as maintain the strength and qualities of the fabric.
However, over time the qualities may deplete. Tent care is an essential part of prolonging your products lifespan, we recommend washing, reproofing, and applying UV protection every two years (based on an average of 2-3 weeks of usage per year) to help restore your tent so that you can enjoy it for longer.

Fire safety when camping
Enjoying the great outdoors when camping can always come with risks – one of the biggest risks is fire. Whether it’s an open fire, BBQ, gas stove or candles there are always risks. Here are some top tips to help mitigate against any risks so that you can enjoy your break safely.
Make sure that all fires are at least 5 metres away from tent walls, hedges, low-hanging branches and flammable objects. Keep your fires small to avoid any sparks or debris from spitting out and setting your tent on fire – you may even want to consider a small fire extinguisher or a bucket of water.
Gas stoves and BBQ’s give off Carbon Monoxide which is an odourless gas that can cause poisoning. Allow plenty of ventilation and space when using gas to avoid build ups that might cause poisoning. Keep them away from your tent and never use them inside.
-
Top tips for the perfect pitch

What is carbon monoxide? How to prevent carbon monoxide poisoning
Carbon Monoxide can kill – it’s as simple as that. Carbon Monoxide is a colourless, odourless gas and is extremely poisonous. In high concentrations it can kill and in smaller concentrations it can leave you extremely sick. Never take a barbecue into a tent, even on cold nights. Don’t use any fuel-burning appliances as a heat source, they often give off CO even when they are functioning well. Another essential tip is to not cook in your tent, always do it in a well ventilated and open space. If you are cooking under a canopy or an extension, close all tent doors and allow as much air to circulate as possible to help carry away those nasty fumes. If you are experiencing any symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning, these include headaches, dizziness, stomach pains or shortness of breath – seek medical help immediately.

Do I need a breathable groundsheet?
Our products don’t come with breathable groundsheets, the reason being as that the fully sewn in 10,000 H/H Groundsheets are integral to the structure and to the performance of the tent or awning. Breathable groundsheets, are brilliant for allowing water to leave, and for encouraging a flow of air to help keep the ground below you living. As a result, they also allow water in, if you’re camping on a damp pitch, you could find water coming up underfoot. Breathable groundsheets can be put down before you pitch your tent to help alleviate some of the issues faced with pitch owners. It’s always wise to research your pitch before you book, as some campsites only allow breathable groundsheets unless attached to your tent.
-
Can we cook under the canopy?
Gas cookers and fires give off Carbon Monoxide in abundance. Whilst camping it is vital to ensure that you aren't cooking in an enclosed space or within the tent itself, this is so that the carbon monoxide can disperse and won't cause carbon monoxide poisoning.
When cooking under a canopy, it's important to ensure that the tent is closed up to keep the bad stuff out. Make sure that you have sufficient air circulation and ventilation under the canopy. Doing this will help regulate carbon monoxide levels, keeping you safe.

All discounts will only apply to UK purchases from our UK website found at www.olproshop.com. Because of the way in which they work we cannot offer discounts on our international websites I'm afraid.
